The Crimean roads will be upgrading
One of the priorities of the Crimean authorities at 2011 will be updating and upgrading of transport infrastructure of the Crimea, in order to enhance the competitiveness of health resort and tourist potential of the peninsula. This was reported by Vice-Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Crimea Valery Kravets at a press conference "Crimean strategy: results in 2010 and prospects for development in 2011 in Simferopol. In particular, among the priority projects named Vladimir Kravets building commuter rail complex in Simferopol. According to him, next year for these purposes will be spent over 247 million UAH. In addition, the Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers said that in 2011 will continue to work on reconstruction of airfield infrastructure and the construction of the airport complex at the International airport "Simferopol". "Today the airport is a lot of work to upgrade the runway and build a new terminal for the reception of passengers, resulting in the terminal area will increase by 700 meters", - said Vladimir Kravets. He recalled that this year the airport was reconstructed forecourt and commissioned the aerodrome control tower, which has no analogues in Ukraine. In his view, the construction of this tower would improve air navigation services, as well as increase the level of safety. Also in the coming year to develop spa-building power of the autonomy of the peninsula are going to continue to work on building and upgrading highways. "In order for tourists to get to the Crimean resort was comfortable, you need to upgrade the main roads", - said Vladimir Kravets. In particular, it is planned to complete construction of a bypass road in Simferopol on sites Dubki - Levadki length of 8.1 kilometers. It is also expected to perform major repairs of roads and hiking trails, etc. In addition, the vice-premier said that to date in the Crimea developed two programs for the development of yacht tourism and small aircraft. According to him, the realization of these projects will contribute to the development of resort-building of the peninsula and make it more attractive for tourists.
