Sevastopol continues to actively develop as a resort region

Sevastopol travel market showed growth in the past holiday season. Tatiana Zenin, Head of Culture and Tourism of the Sevastopol city state administration, said that Sevastopol continues to actively develop as a resort region.

Tatiana Zenina also noted that among the 27 major cities in Ukraine's Sevastopol occupies a high position on the provision of tourism services, such as: airline tickets, outbound tourism, foreign tourism. Sevastopol took 4 th place among the total number served tourists and 5 places for payments to the budget.

Last year, Sevastopol has been widely presented at international exhibitions in Austria, Germany, Russia and Ukraine.

Tatiana Zenina also pointed at the weaknesses of Sevastopol as a tourist region. According to her in Sebastopol there are big problems with the beaches, illegal private hotels that need to be put out of the shadows, not the proper level of services provided, etc.
