«Artek» and «Young Guard» handed over under the control of the central organ of executive power

International Children's Center "Artek" and "young guard" are going to pass under the control of the central organ of executive power, which is determined by the Cabinet. The bill, introduced a deputy of the Yulia Tymoshenko Pavel Kostenko.

Recall that in October last year, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Law "On Amendments to Article 1 of the Law of Ukraine" On state support and functioning Children Center "and" Young Guard ". According to the adopted law, management of a children's center was transferred to the central body of executive power. Prior to the adoption of this law children's camps were administered by the State Affairs Department of the Presidential Secretariat.

President Viktor Yushchenko on Nov. 13 vetoed the earlier law, explaining its action so that the law violates the Constitution and several laws.
