EU invests 80 million euros in the development of the Crimea.

European Union intends to allocate the Crimea grants and loans amounting to 80 million euros.

Foreign Minister Peter Poroshenko said that Ukraine expects to receive in the coming year from the European partners of 80 million euros for infrastructure development of the Crimea.

«It is very important projects of Ukraine and the EU regarding the socio-economic development of the Crimea. Now we can say that in 2010 we have an opportunity to attract more than 80 EUR mln in the economy of the Crimea. They will include grants and loans. And they will aim to develop tourism, infrastructure, creation of water and energy. And these projects will be implemented in 2010 ", - said Petr Poroshenko.

Recall that in December last year, Germany provided the Crimea 5 million euros for infrastructure development of the peninsula.
