In the village Ternivka writings of Archimandrite and Abbot Augustine Boris in a one-story home in Highlands, 36 constructed the temple. He was consecrated in the name of Martyr Yevstratov Crypt, suffered for Christ in the Chersonese in the XI century.
In 1097 Polovtsians crushed and Kiev and the Caves Monastery. Holy Yevstratov, a monk of the monastery, was among the captives. He was sold into slavery to one Jew in Korsun (Chersonesos). For refusing to deny Christ, a Jew that within ten days wore all the chains of hunger. He survived only one holy Yevstratov, accustomed to the post of youth
But two weeks later, the day of Holy Pascha, a Jew crucified him on the cross, and holy Martyr thanked God for what He has vouchsafed it to take the same suffering that he himself has undergone. But the torturer, he warned that it will suffer the wrath of God. Beside himself with rage, he stabbed him with a spear. Then everyone saw the fiery chariot and fiery horses, carried off the triumphant soul saint in heaven. And they heard a voice from heaven: "That valiant citizen Castle of Heaven!"
Yevstratov saint's body was thrown into the sea, but soon found it in a cave Caves Monastery, where he was buried. And then open that and ruler of the country, a baptized Jew, - a secret Jew, and allows the Jews to be slaves of Christians, which was forbidden by law. He was executed, and with him died many Jews, and the owner of Saint Martyr Yevstratov was hanged on a tree.
